SketchUp component-Circular Saw w/Smart Base Empty
PostSubject: SketchUp component-Circular Saw w/Smart Base   SketchUp component-Circular Saw w/Smart Base EmptyMarch 6th 2009, 12:29 pm

This thread was originally posted on SMC.

I just uploaded a SketchUp DC component of a circular saw with the
smart base attached. You can enter the depth and angle of cut, and
select the anti-chip insert. If an insert is selected and the angle of
cut is not 0 degrees, the insert changes to AC-1. It is in the EurekaZone Tools and Parts Collection.

For those interested, I have begun to post about my DCs on my blog.

Dik,

Slightly off topic, but did you ever complete your plywood rack?

Dik Harrison Replied:

Bill,

I have it functional, but not complete, I don't have the mechanism done
to lock it in the up position. Much of the workshop projects have taken
a back seat to household projects. And I' also in the process of
redoing my shop, so I hesitate to complete the cart until I finalize
where I'm going to store sheet goods.
