I would love to see photos of EZ benches that people have made.
I know that Burt made some kind of EZ Uni that I have seen photos of but can't find them now.

For some reason I can't register with SMC. I have tried literally about 100 different usernames but they keep getting rejected. I know there are a bunch of photos over there but I can't view them.

I am finally getting a pretty good understanding of the EZ dead wood concept. I am working out ideas in my mind for the perfect power bench for me. I would just love to see some photos to give me more ideas.
I am thinking that an 8' long fairly narrow bench would suit my needs. On that bench I would mount a long bridge (is this a problem?). The bridge would remain pretty much stationary while a fence of some kind would register the workpiece. I would like to have some kind of fence that is easily adjusted with one hand, i.e. unifence or Vega or biesemeyer. I would use a 10 1/2" Makita and would do all of my ripping of lumber and sizing of sheet goods on this table.
Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Andy

Andy,

You are listed as a member, Andy Cover, joined today. If I'm not mistaken, you should have received an e-mail that gives a link that you have to respond to for the membership to be completed. Check the spam/junk-mail folder of the e-mail address you put in for membership.

If you don't get in, let me know. If you do, there is a "sticky" post, sixth down, in the EurekaZone forum that is an index of a lot of PBB design posts.

Have fun...

Dik

I finally did get in on SMC. Don't know why it was so hard. Having a good time looking at photos.
I especially like the bench made by Art Rudi. Mine will probably end up looking something like his.
I just have to get through corn harvest here in the Texas panhandle (i am a farmer, woodworking is my hobby) so I can get started on it.
