This thread was originally posted on SMC.

If you are interested in how I set up the SRK for this job,I just posted this to my Blog. There is a link to my pics there.

for some reason I can't view your blog Dik?

Dik Harrison Replied:

Sorry, but I don't know why, it works fine here on all my different computers. I only use one to do the Blog, so it isn't because there is something on the computer that is different. Wish I had an answer. What exactly happens when you click the link?

Dik (works for me) - nice setup. I know the title says door lips but looks like a similar setup could be used to simplify milling Euro hinge holes.

(Could you add a close up photo of the completed door lip?)

Thanks,

Mike

Dik Harrison Replied:

Thanks for the idea

Thanks Mike, I hadn't thought of that. I'm just starting to use Euro hinges, the cabinets I'm matching have the old style hinges. The cabinets I'm doing for my shop will have Euro hinges from now on, so
I'll have to get this idea put into action. I'll go down to the shop later and get that picture of the lip and post it.

Thanks - hope it's not too late, but, looks like you have "shopmade" rail stops. If so could you post some pics of them also?

Thanks

Here you go...

Mike, here is a link to my thread on those. They are just a modification of the stock stops because I tend to be heavy handed when it comes to tightening things!

Well, I blew that, I forgot to include the link...

The Parallel Stop design has since changed, but I will post the link to that thread once I get it posted here.
