| I somehow got volunteered to help build sets for my daughters High School Musical "Seussical the Musical". No one on the crew had ever seen or heard of the saw guide before but they all want one now. We used the guide and the SRK and Circle maker. In total we made 4 sections of ramp, a stand alone ramp, a ropebridge, a double platform, Hortons tree and nest, A bathtub and a Zoo cage all with EZ smart....!!!!
I will post some pictures as soon as I take some. The play is Next Friday.

| Bill, That sounds like an ideal use for the EZ. The EZ does have a way of receiving a lot of attention from those who are not familiar with it. Burt | |

| Quite a few years back, now, Dino used to help with some kind of shop (votec?) class. I think the company took more time and took him away from it, or maybe the school chopped it out of their budgets, but I would love to see this more in the schools.
Thanks for Volunteering!

Thanks for Volunteering! I think it is a shame that there are not more shop classes taught. Technology really hasn't passed us by. Woodworking today can be a valuable skill....... If they used EZ Smart in schools, less kid would get injured and more projects would be built. Just my opinion. Bill

| Excellent job, Bill. This is great exposure for the EZ Smart and hopefully some of those people will give the EZ a try. What EZ tools do you have and which ones did you use? Dik, maybe this post should be moved to the, "Show off!!!" forum. It seems like a perfect fit for people looking for real life uses for the EZ Smart. Hopefully some pics can be posted too. Bruce | |

Bo Thanks Bo, The play went off without a hitch. We did something we have never done before. Sold out both nights. They had to turn away about 100 people on Friday (Fire Marshall). As soon as I figure out how to post a picture I will upload some. Warning: Stage props are meant to be quickly assembled and thus are not pretty (from a wood workers stand point). Bill

| Bill,
Excellent set. My son and daughter went to a fine arts magnet school, so I have seen a lot of sets. This set ranks up there at the top. My son has been making his living making sets for 12 years or so. I keep trying to get him to go EZ. Kids (no matter how old) never listen to their parents...
